Huge redevelopment on the site of the current 51 year-old Sea Mist Resort spanning 11th Avenue South to 13th Avenue South in Myrtle Beach. The development was described by one city council member as “The most beautiful project we’ve ever had brought to the city,” with 40% of the land to be used for recreation areas and green space. 1839 units are to be completed within seven years. Two existing hotel buildings, the “Driftwood” and “Tides” buildings will be converted to condos and substantially upgraded. The rest of the development will consist of all-new construction. Great pricing for conversion units - $109,900 to $199,900 with early spring 2006 closing right at the beginning of the peak rental season. No firm announcements yet as to pricing for the pre-construction buildings.

South Wind(Building Completed Fall 2004.)

South Wind on the Ocean, located at 53th Avenue North and Ocean Blvd. is in one of the most exclusive residential sections of Myrtle Beach.
